Time Out says

Leading lights in Japanese Buddhist sculpture during the Edo era, Enku (1632-1695) and Mokujiki (1718-1810) both travelled far and wide in their respective lifetimes, leaving behind a vast collection of wooden statues. Around 250 of these smiling, stern and mysterious depictions are now on display at Yokohama's Sogo Museum, marking a first for the Kanto region.
