Rainbow Disco Club 2015

Sat May 2 - Mon May 4, 2015 Higashi-Izu Cross Country Course, Shizuoka Prefecture

Time Out says

Held in Tokyo three times since 2010, this combo event uniting music and art packs up and moves out to the Izu Peninsula for its 2015 edition. Formerly a one-day bash, Rainbow Disco Club will now take place over an entire weekend, which has clearly allowed for a more varied lineup than in the past: composed of international techno traveller Mathew Jonson, fellow Canadians The Mole and Tyger Dhula plus jazz keyboardist Danuel Tate, The Modern Deep Left Quartet leads a list that also includes Norwegian space disco cowboy Todd Terje, Amsterdam's Rush Hour Allstars, Beats in Space founder Tim Sweeney and Frankfurt's techno impresario Ata. Local favourites like DJ Nobu, Kaoru Inoue and DJ Masda will also be along for the ride, while the Red Bull Music Academy stage is where to catch reclusive Spanish producer John Talabot, Bernard Fevre's Black Devil Disco Club and Tokyo veterans Force of Nature – to name but a few.
