As everyone should know by now, November 11 is Cheese Day in Japan. Fromage fiends can again get their fix at this two-day event featuring seminars and tasting sessions, covering everything from cheese-based recipes to which wines and beers pair well with particular varieties. You can also talk to a 'cheese master' about everything you always wanted to know about cheese but were too afraid to ask (uhh, we're sure there's something) and spy some rare import varieties. There'll be around 250 different types on display, many of them available to buy (though freeloaders will doubtless appreciate the complimentary samples, too).
