Performing Arts

Review

Like the New National Theatre, this venue is a favourite with fans and performers. The main auditorium is modelled on a Greek open-air theatre, but can be changed to proscenium style. The smaller Theatre Tram is a popular venue for dance. The building is the adopted home of the Sankai Juku butoh troupe, when it’s in town.
