Review

A ryokan that caters almost exclusively to foreign visitors, Kimi offers simple, small, Japanese-style rooms. Bathing and toilet facilities are communal but very clean; there’s even a Japanese bath for use at set times. Downstairs in the communal lounge, backpackers and travellers exchange gossip. Kimi also runs an information and accommodation service for foreigners apartment-hunting in Tokyo (3986 1604), and a telephone answering service for businesspeople (3986 1895). Booking is advised.
