Review

One of the best museums in Tokyo is run by a department-store chain (it’s owned and operated by the Tokyu corporation, which also runs 109, Tokyu Hands and part of Mark City). Bunkamura hosts international art blockbusters featuring subjects and artists ranging from Tintin to Picasso. Elsewhere in this major shopping and cultural centre are boutiques, an art-house cinema, two theatre/music spaces, an art bookshop and various restaurants.
