Is there such a thing as an eco otaku? You can find out this weekend, as Akihabara stages its 4th annual Akiba Green Festival. There'll be green-themed talks, quizzes and workshops held in the Belle Salle event hall on Chuo-Dori – much of which, admittedly, doesn't look like it'll be particularly accessible to non-Japanese speakers – and a geek-friendly flea market at the plaza outside the UDX Building. Budding environmentalists can also take part in a group neighbourhood clean-up, which runs from 3.30pm-4.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
