Aeron Hockey Pan Asia Qualifiers

While we don't see it getting accepted to the Olympics any time soon, Aeron Hockey – think hockey played on swivel office chairs – has gone from being the drunken pastime of corporate drones to a competitive sport of sorts. What's more, Herman Miller, the makers of the popular Aeron chair, are its most enthusiastic supporters. The company is sponsoring the first-ever Pan Asia Aeron Hockey Championships this year, which will be held in Hong Kong in September, and Japan is having its own qualifiers in Tokyo this weekend. Teams of five players will face off against each other in 15 minute matches, and along with determining the national champions, there'll also be prizes awarded for the highest scorer and (more bizarrely) the best dresser.
