Time Out says

Fireflies are a sure sign of summer in Japan, and this viewing event at Yokohama's Sankeien garden lets you see their mysterious nighttime dance in all its glory. Captive fireflies can be observed inside the Tomyoji building on the weekends, while the best spot for viewing wild specimens is around the outer garden's small river. The garden's flowers and impressive pagoda will also be lit up during the event period.
