You'll want to attend this event first: Ikebukuro's Sunshine City hosts a slithery lot over one May weekend, with turtles, snakes, chameleons, frogs and lizards joined by animals like hedgehogs and owls, plus plenty of experts offering tips on how best to care for the beasts at home. In addition to hands-on tips and useful information for prospective pet-owners, you can look forward to a pop-up owl café and plenty of informative talks.
