This festival takes place around Ebisu's historical Beer Hill, where carriages full of beer once passed through on their way from the old factory to wholesalers and consumers in the city. Local stores tout their wares at stalls along the road from the Ebisu Yon-chome crossing toward Maison Franco-Japonaise.
