A bar located on a corner of Star Road – a road lined with drinking establishments – a short walk from Asagaya station (from the north exit head west at the roundabout). There isn’t a lot of space inside, but they still manage to squeeze in a small stage and host a number of events, both professional and amateur, including live music, films and theatrics. Owned by the wife of the late Takashi Fukutani – a manga artist who made a name for himself by authoring a popular manga named ‘Dokudami-sou’ – Jamb Jamb boasts a number of regulars and is always ready to give a warm welcome to new faces.
