A step down in price and luxury from other west Shinjuku hotels, the Washington nonetheless offers a high standard of accommodation and service. Its main target market is business travellers, so rooms tend to be small and blandly furnished. Also, there is now a women-only floor, and a business floor with upgraded amenities. The newer annex (containing 337 rooms) offers roughly the same level of service, with more modern decor.
