Review

With something in the neighbourhood of 12 million people visiting its exhibition hall and conference rooms every year, and hosting approximately 16 restaurants on the premises, Tokyo Big Sight is without a doubt Japan’s most impressive convention centre. Host to various expositions and events, it even serves as the finish line for the Tokyo Marathon. It’s famous for the unique, inverted pyramid design of its Conference Tower, which also serves to connect the East Exhibition Hall to the West Exhibition Hall. Its numerous accolades include the 38th annual Building Constructors Society Prize Special Award, and the Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan’s 15th annual Japan Lighting Award.
