This is the first of a few attractive numbers fashioned by Yutaka Shinohara, a glass-blower who specialises in crafting Edo-style furin and has had his work exhibited in the US and Europe. Our Japanese colleagues tell us that the shape is particularly distinctive, but you know what? We just like that goldfish motif.
