To an untrained eye, the rapid hip-shaking moves of Tahiti's 'ote'a dance look like Hawaiian Hula after a few too many Red Bulls. Or at least, that's how it appears when amateurs do it: Patricia Tokoragi, one of the island's most acclaimed dancers, manages to imbue it with such grace that time almost seems to slow down when she performs. Have a gander when she makes a guest appearance at this promotional event, held as a warm-up for September's larger Tahiti Festa. There'll be performances throughout the day, though Tokoragi doesn't take the stage until 7pm on Saturday, and 7.30pm on Sunday.
