Bolshoi Ballet: ‘Swan Lake’

Sat Feb 4 - Thu Feb 9, 2012 Tokyo Bunka Kaikan

Time Out says

Pyotr Tchaikovsky's enduring masterpiece had its world premiere at the Bolshoi Ballet in 1877, so it's only fitting that Swan Lake has become a staple in the company's repertoire. The Bolshoi is wheeling out three of its veteran soloists for these Tokyo shows, with Maria Alexandrova, Svetlana Lunkina and Yekaterina Shipulina taking the lead role in the three performances.
