Shiba Oktoberfest 2011

Thu Aug 18 - Sun Aug 28, 2011 Shiba Park

Time Out says

They've done it in Hibiya Park. They've done it in Yoyogi. Now Tokyo's seasonally inaccurate celebration of German suds is moving to Shiba Park. Join the area's office workers as they gaze wistfully at Tokyo Tower while knocking back tankards of Hofbräu, Erdinger and Paulaner – complete with a chaser of sauerkraut and sausage, of course. As with other editions of the event, there'll also be performances of jazzed-up oom-pah music to stoke the intoxicated revelry. Prost!

Note: The Oktoberfest takes place in the north-west corner of the park, opposite the Tokyo Prince Hotel
