Open-Air Films at the Museum

Fri Oct 2 - Sat Oct 3, 2015 Tokyo National Museum

Time Out says

Building on last year's success, Ueno's National Museum sets up a huge screen in front of the main museum building for this autumn night movie screening. This time around, the feature film is 1985's Night on the Galactic Railroad, an anime adaptation of Kenji Miyazawa's classic fantasy novel – fittingly enough, seeing that the author was a frequent visitor to the museum and even mentioned it in several of his poems and letters. More screenings are planned for later dates, so keep checking back regularly.
