Serving up a packed programme of contemporary French cinema, from box-office hits to more obscure art fare, the semi-governmental UniFrance organisation's mini-festival can feel a little disjointed at times but is still well worth attending for film buffs. 12 movies will be screened over a long weekend at Yurakucho's Asahi Hall and Toho Cinemas Nichigeki, with Eric Lartigau's crowd-pleaser La Famille Bélier (2014) opening things up for flicks like François Ozon's The New Girlfriend (2014) and quirky drama Gemma Bovery (2014). The full lineup is here.
Note that all films will be shown with Japanese subtitles only.
