Sankeien Plum-Viewing (2015)

Sat Feb 14 - Sun Mar 8, 2015 Sankeien

Time Out says

Although best known for its cherry blossoms, Yokohama's spacious Sankeien is also a nice choice for plum-watching. Bursting into white and pink from February to March, the around 600 trees here include a few rare varieties. Mochi pounding, performances of traditional music and free barley tea (at the park's teahouse) add to the experience. Finally, an exhibition highlighting photographer Everett Brown's collodion prints of Sankeien is on between January 30 and March 9 at the park's museum (entrance ¥500).
