Time Out says
Drones have been mostly been associated with wars and destruction over the past few years, but this inaugural edition of the Japan Drone Championship is no fight to the death: participation is open to anyone with a remote-controlled flying machine, and competitors are judged by their technique and style in operating the drones. Entrepreneur extraordinaire Takafumi Horie is rumoured to be among the challengers, adding a little celeb flavour to the event. Both participation and regular entrance tickets are on sale at the official website.
