14th Tokyo International Quilt Festival

Thu Jan 22 - Wed Jan 28, 2015 Tokyo Dome

Time Out says

We never ever would have guessed, but this annual celebration of all things quilted is actually the biggest of its kind in the world and even ranks among the most popular festivals and happenings at Tokyo Dome every year. And it gets better: the 2015 edition is dedicated to exploring the relationship between quilting and the '70s hit TV series Little House on the Prairie, which apparently started a quilting boom in Japan. Expect full-size sets from the show to appear among the sea of stalls showing off everything from Hawaiian quilts to creations themed on children's books.
