Known as ‘Yebizo’ for short, this annual event is a fortnight-long bonanza of video art, films screenings, talks and symposia. The main exhibition is free, but some of the other screenings and events might have an entrance fee. This year’s theme is ‘See you on other planets’, with art being explored from new perspectives, as if visiting an unknown planet, and the exhibits take over the entire Garden Place complex. Featured artists include photographer Takashi Homma, director Natsuki Seta, sculptor/video artist Paweł Althamer and visual artist Adel Abidin – see the full list here.
