Time Out says

Taking a break from shaving during the month of Movember? Since starting life in Australia's Melbourne back in 2003, this annual beard-growing celebration has become a global phenomenon, with celebrities jumping on the bandwagon and a variety of facial hair contests taking place, all for the admirable cause of raising awareness and money for men's health issues. Tokyoites can show off their whiskers at this two-part event in Omotesando, where impressively bearded gentlemen and supportive ladies get together for a beard contest, Guinness-sipping and much more. The first part (from 6.30pm, reservations required) sees participants toast with Ireland's favourite stout before taking a photo with the froth all over their moustaches, while the latter part is open to everyone and features a Movember-themed talk, a class on how to pour a perfect pint of Guinness and, of course, the beard contest. You can also pick up samples courtesy of perfume brand Penhaligon's and razors from Kamisori Club while working on your beer and bar food.
