Tokyo's many fireworks displays aren't exactly what you'd call interactive affairs, but this mini-festival at Daikanyama's Tsutaya bucks the trend: head over to the architecture books counter after 5pm, pick up your six-pack of hand-held fireworks, and light up in the hot summer night. You'll also find an assortment of food stalls and pop-up shops here, and if the fireworks run out before your turn, head over to the 1LDK Apartments shop nearby for a second chance.
