Railway Festival 2014

Saitama's Chichibu Railway opens up its Hirosegawara rail yard for this one-day event that allows train fans of all ages to get up close to steam locomotives, regular train cars and other heavy-duty equipment. There will also be music and dance performances, most notably by regional yuru-kyara mascots, as well as the obligatory food stalls selling 'B-class gourmet' goodies from the nearby cities of Kumagaya and Gyoda.
