InterContinental Yokohama Grand

Built in the image of a yacht sail billowing in the wind, and located not far from several areas of interest including the Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama’s Red Brick Warehouse and Colette Mare, the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand plays an important role in accommodating both tourists and business men and women visiting the area. Rooms here have either a city view or a bay view that overlooks Yokohama Port. In addition to a range of facilities, including their Harbour View Fitness Club, which provides guests with a chance to work up a sweat whilst enjoying some impressive scenery – and an indoor pool – the hotel also offers various relaxation and aesthetic services such as Hawaiian lomilomi oil massages. Rooms include wireless internet access; those wishing to use the service are required to bring their own computer. The hotel houses a total of 594 rooms. In observance of the Kanagawa Prefectural Ordinance for the Prevention of Passive Smoking, since April 1 2010, the hotel’s restaurant and bar areas are entirely non-smoking.
