Serving karaoke with a twist, the owners of this Kabukicho 'snack' bar accompany their customers on live electric guitar and saxophone. Studio Himawari often stays open well past its advertised closing time of 7am, and if you go there really late you might find yourself drinking (and warbling) with staff from other bars in the neighbourhood. The basic charge is ¥3,000 (including karaoke, snacks and tea), and alcoholic drinks start at ¥500.
