Fans of the Mobile Suit Gundam anime saga can now get their fill at this dedicated museum, housed on the 7th floor of the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza shopping centre in Odaiba. Many visitors are content just to have their photo taken with the full-scale, 18-metre Gundam robot that stands guard outside DiverCity, then maybe snap up some mecha merchandise in the gift shop (rare plastic kit models aplenty!). But you'll need to be a hardcore Gundam geek to consider the fee for the museum's rather meagre attractions – including a few more full-scale models and a 360-degree film screening – to be money well spent. Advance reservations recommended.
