Time Out says

On the seventh day of each month, Tsukiji Market hosts a special event where vendors offer free samples of their wares to the general public. And it's not all about fish: the May edition is dedicated to another popular Tsukiji staple, tamagoyaki egg rolls. Turn up from 8am for a chance to taste offerings from a variety of local shops.
