Organisers are expecting up to 200,000 people to head to this celebration of African culture, in which visitors can get their hair braided, learn Ethiopian and Senegalese dance or get a quick lesson in the art of polyrhythms. This year's headliner is Burkina Faso musician Bil Aka Kora, while Japanese nyatiti player Anyango and Senegalese percussionist Latyr Sy and (more confusingly) taiko drummer Shuichi Hidano are also due to appear. Naturally, there'll be booths selling African food, handicrafts and clothing, as well as representatives from embassies and NGOs.
Open May 11-12
