Time Out says

A newly established event that aims to acknowledge, applaud and award the activities of individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of gay and lesbian culture and the LGBT community during 2010. Taking place on Saturday December 4, the first Tokyo SuperStar Awards Gala will confer six awards: a ‘culture’ award, a ‘community’ award, a ‘media’ award’, an ‘enterprise’ award, an ‘international’ award and a ‘breakthrough’ award.

The event’s MCs will be Japanese actress, singer and gravure idol Megumi, and drag queen and writer Bourbonne, with a live performance by DJ Tomo Asahina (the first Asian artist to be signed with UK-based record label Fierce Angel). Note: only a handful of tickets still available.
