After the summer onslaught of Oktoberfests, here's an outdoor beer-a-thon that doesn't feature oompah music, sauerkraut or ludicrously overpriced drinks. Held at the site of a former brewery, the Yebisu Beer Festival is notable mainly for the fact that all of the proceeds from draft beer sales will be going to quake relief in Tohoku – and everyone loves getting drunk for a good cause, right? That said, it'll be strictly Yebisu on tap throughout the weekend; if you're looking for interesting brews, you'd probably be better off heading to the Great Japan Beer Festival 2012 in Yokohama instead.
