Kyushu Festival

Time Out says

Kumamon, Oidonkun, Ecoton and all your other favourite regional mascots will be on hand for this celebration of all things Kyushu in Yoyogi Park. Last weekend's Hokkaido Fair reportedly drew some insane crowds, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that things will be a little bit more manageable this time around. The fest features around 70 food stalls, hawking regional specialities including Kagoshima kurobuta pork, toriten chicken from Oita and Fukuoka's famed Hakata ramen. Hopefully this will make up for the patchy live 'entertainment', which seems to consist mostly of PR spiels by local tourist reps.
