Crewimburnny

Time Out says

Francophone art-and-film fest Hors Piste Tokyo always throws up a few intriguing events each year, and none more so than this 'performance in five movements for film, cameras, dancers and saxophone'. Choreographer Maruoissia Vossen and director Etienne Sandrin devised Bestiare based on the eponymous series of films by 90-year-old cineaste Chris Marker, a sometime collaborator of Alain Resnais. Vossen will perform the piece(s) in the Hara Museum courtyard alongside Tokyo dance company Crewimburnny (pictured) and Kansai-based pugilists Contact Gonzo, with additional interjections by tenor saxman Yasuaki Shimizu. Reservations required. Email hara@horspistestokyo.com.
