It's hard to think of any corporate CEOs, past or present, whose deaths could have inspired the kind of reaction seen earlier this month when news broke that Apple founder Steve Jobs had passed away. Time Out Tokyo will be staging its own tribute to the tech innovator on October 30, with an afternoon of panel discussions, music and unapologetic Mac fetishism. The panel lineup includes Steve Jobs translator Koji Inokuchi and technology journalist Daisuke Tsuda, while Shibuya-kei mainstay Yoshinori Sunahara, Compuma, Keiichiro Shibuya (as DJ Jimihendrixxx) and OL Killer will be supplying some left-of-centre sounds. There'll also be a special themed menu, including the famed sashimi soba that's served in the staff canteen at Apple HQ.
