Kakigori (shaved ice) made a roaring comeback to the spotlight last summer, with the traditional dessert grabbing the attention of Tokyo's sweets fiends throughout the warm months. New shops opened up all over town, and the trend looks set to continue this year. If you're already in the mood for a frosty delicacy, Tokyo Kakigori Collection is where to sample the seasonal treats before anyone else. Three specialist shops will be showing off their creations, which include flavours like coffee, green tea and cake (!), and can be sampled either during the daytime or the evening session.
Open Sat Apr 4
Time Daytime – doors 12noon, start 12.30pm; evening – doors 5.30pm, start 6pm
