Even if you're not a budget traveller bunking at Asakusa's Khaosan Origami, heading to this 'decorative hostel' in early March will be worth it: open in the evening over a week, the hostel's sake bar is open to both guests and visitors, serving fine nihonshu and booze-compatible nibbles for ¥300-¥500 a pop. Should be a great opportunity to make some new friends, too.
