New Bon Odori

Sun Aug 10, 2014 Ikebukuro West Gate Park

Time Out says

First held in 2009, this fun event is great for anyone wanting to try their hand at traditional obon dancing. Run by Ryohei Kondo and his comedy dance troupe Condors, the New Bon Odori is best enjoyed in yukata and with an adventurous attitude. Oh, and don't worry even if you're unsure of the steps – improvisation is highly encouraged.
