Tokyo Hula Festival in Ikebukuro

Fri Jul 18 - Sun Jul 20, 2014 Ikebukuro West Gate Park , Ikebukuro Station West Plaza, Sunshine City etc.

Time Out says

Spreading out all over Ikebukuro, the annual Hula Festival paints the area in distinctly Hawaiian colours. Outdoor gigs by Hawaiian bands and a dizzying variety of food and drink stalls complement the main event: 150 teams and up to 3,800 dancers will be showing off their hula skills on stage. If you feel like swinging your hips too, start at the hula workshop held by Hawaiian legend Kapiolani Hao (reservations required, see official website for details).
