A selection of 15 recent Latin films will be shown in Tokyo, Yokohama and Kyoto. One film in the spotlight is the omnibus movie ‘Revolución’ which features individual perspectives by ten directors (including the popular Mexican actor Gael García Bernal) on the theme of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1917). The film received much acclaim at the Berlin International Film Festival and is scheduled to be released in Mexico on November 20, the date of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution. Other films include Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘Tetro’, set in Buenos Aires.
