Momiji-Ichi 2015

Sat Sep 26 - Sun Sep 27, 2015 Banks of the Tamagawa (near Keio-Tamagawa Station)

Time Out says

An annual autumn occurrence on the banks of the Tama River just south of Chofu, the Momiji-Ichi is an opportunity for local creatives to peddle their wares under the open sky. Around 120 participants, working in fields like pottery, textile decoration, handicrafts, music, illustration, coffee, agriculture and cooking, will be setting up booths over the last weekend of September, while the programme also includes workshops, film screenings, gigs and other fun for visitors of all ages. Don't miss this chance to dig for finds and make new discoveries in the cool autumn air.

Note that the event will be cancelled in case of bad weather (announcement to be made on the official website by 7am on the day). However, in case of light rain, the event will go on at the nearby Keiokaku velodrome.
