Super Crazy Category III Programme

Treat yourself to the worst of the worst of '90s Hong Kong film with this special programme featuring three of director Herman Yau's best-known movies. Landmark productions in the wave of 'Category III' flicks (named after the local 'adults only' age rating) that included softcore porn, ultra-graphic violence and OTT horror, all emerging in the years before the 1997 return of the city to Chinese rule, Yau's greatest hits range from the serious and brutal thriller The Untold Story (1993) to exploitation shocker Ebola Syndrome (1996). In addition to these two, Human Trust's 'Super Crazy' also features 1993's Taxi Hunter, now shown in Japan for the first time ever.
