One of Tokyo's newest and glitziest multiplex cinemas, Shinjuku Piccadilly is actually the reincarnation of a four-screen movie house that used to stand in nearby Kabukicho. Quirks include a date-friendly 'platinum seat' plan (¥5,000 per person) – which lets couples snuggle on a two-person seat and order cocktails during their screening – and a private, exorbitantly expensive 'platinum room' (pictured).
