One of the biggest international short film festivals in Asia returns to Tokyo and Yokohama in June, taking place at Omotesando Hills Space O, Laforet Museum Harajuku, Yokohama's Brillia Shortshorts Theatre and the newly opened Itscom Studio & Hall at Futako-Tamagawa Rise over a period of 12 days. A total of more than 5,000 films from 110 countries competed for entry into the main program, and around 200 of these contestants will be screened during the festival. Best of all, practically all events and viewings are free, so there's no stopping you from taking in the best of mini-movies from all over the world. All films are screened either in English or with English subtitles – check out the full programme here.
