Arakicho Nihonshu Meguri

The sake festivals keep coming, with this celebration at Yotsuya's Arakicho next in line after similar events in Shibuya, Kanda and Kita-Senju. Although the scale gets upped for this one – more than 100 varieties from all 47 prefectures will be available – the recipe stays the same: pick up a ticket well in advance and get access to all the nihonshu you can drink, including quite a few of the oh-so-trendy sparkling types. Participating restaurants in the area serve up select appetisers for ¥300-¥500 a pop, so make sure to pack a few coins on the day. Book your ticket through Peatix.
