Established by the UN in 2012, the International Day of Happiness aims to celebrate and raise debate about the importance of being happy. Although skeptics may point out that we hardly need an official day for that, the organisers of Happy Day Tokyo have embraced this opportunity to the fullest extent. For two days, Hibiya Park will be the site of talks, art shows, gigs, film screenings, and fitness events, while visitors can also enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks sold at open-air booths. Welcome spring with a smile!
