Showerheads line the ceramic walls of this bathhouse-turned-cafe that teams non-slip mats, lockers and washbasins from its former life with wooden floorboards, desks and tables for a feminine, European interior. It’s glistening, spotless and not nearly as cosy as Kyoto’s other bathhouse cafe (Sarasa Nishijin, p112), but it’s a fun place to pop into for a sandwich and a cup of tea.
