This friendly restaurant on Pontocho provides glorious views of the Kamo river and serves authentic Japanese home-style obanzai cooking. Although their speciality is seafood, make sure that you try the yuba (soy milk skin), served sashimi-style in a sweet sauce or a creamy gratin. From May until the end of September, a yuka balcony over the river makes this an even more delightful place to dine at.
